Meet the team
There are 5 members of staff plus the manager.
Most staff have at least a level 2 qualification in childcare with several holding a level 3.
All staff have their DBS checks (Disclosure and Barring Service, police checks) at the start of their employment and then sign a yearly declaration to confirm there are no changes.
All staff are first aid trained.
There are currently 5 qualified staff plus the manager.
All staff have attended basic Safeguarding training, and there is a designated safeguarding team in place who attend advanced safeguarding training.
The names and duties of all staff members are in the front of the policies and procedures booklet.
Staff are committed to attending courses that refresh and update their existing knowledge and to continue with their own professional development.
Rachel
Co-owner/Manager
Opened Toddlers Pre-school in 2003,
took over Toddlers at The Bridge
Pre-School 2009.
Rachel holds a level 5 foundation degree
in Early Childhood Studies.
Rachel is the designated lead for the Safeguarding Team.
Rachel is the designated Prevent lead.
Rachel is the SENCO for the nursery room and holds a Senco level 3 qualification.
Lesley
Deputy
Lesley joined Toddlers at the Bridge in 2019.
Lesley is deputy safeguarding.
Lesley holds a level 3 qualification in childcare.
Iysha
Joined Toddlers at The Bridge in 2009.
Iysha holds a level 2 qualification
Emelia
Joined Toddlers at the Bridge in 2023.
Emelia holds a level 3 qualification
Oreh
Joined Toddlers at The Bridge in 2009.
Oreh holds a level 2 qualification
Oreh is the nominated Health & Safety person.
Natalia
Joined Toddlers at The Bridge in 2018.
Natalia is level 3 qualification in childcare.
